SOCIAL CORNER
The Crossings Social Corner is a special interest network established to develop
and cultivate relationships in our growing community by providing opportunities
for residents who share similar interests to gather and fellowship around those
interests. If you are interested in heading up a community social interest group
please submit the details of your interests to the Social Committee.
Community Babysitter Network
Busy parents often need a few hours of their own time, whether to go out or to
simply get things done around the house. Many residents in our community have
expressed an interest in creating a stronger community by developing an informal
network of available babysitters within our community. While the Crossings HOA
takes no responsibility in screening or training distinguished babysitters in
our community, we are happy to provide a networking medium for parents and babysitters
to connect. Towards that end, if you are interested in being listed in the community’s
babysitter network, please forward your contact information to the Social Committee. If you are looking for a sitter, please check The Crossings Marketplace for a listing of babysitters in the network.
Family Gaming Fun at The Crossings
School is out and it is time for family fun at The Crossings! During the months
of June and July the community cabana will be stocked with a variety of family
oriented social board games each Sunday from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. So, turn off
the tube, get out for some fresh air and take advantage of this opportunity to
create fun-filled family memories at The Crossings.
Book Review Social Group
This book review group will provide fun, encouragement and fellowship for community
residents interested in exploring fiction and non-fiction reading materials. Participants
will read books together and learn how to analyze the characters and situations
as they relate to everyday living. We will begin with a review of Og Mandino’s,
“The Twelfth Angel” on Sunday, July 15th at 5:00pm, at the pool cabana.

Scrabble Social Club
Calling all crossword game enthusiasts, English language jocks and others in search
of a stimulating intellectual challenge to start a SCRABBLE® social group
at The Crossings. This is a perfect opportunity to learn new words and definitions,
improve your memory and enhance your language skills while making new friends
and having fun! Whether you’re a beginner or a tournament-level expert,
