Diane was born in Akron, OH and transferred to Charlotte
11 years ago by her employer, Continental Tire North America, Inc. [formerly
General Tire] with a total of 39 years employment. Also working a part-time
second job, she is a single homeowner living in Oak Ridge spending weekend
taking care of her house and yard work. |

 Toni Emehel |
Toni Emehel is a native Charlottean, and community resident who was appointed to The Crossings Board of Directors in February 2007. During the June 2007 board election, Toni was elected to serve a 2-year term on the Board of Directors ending June 2009. Toni has her sights set on bringing a fresh sense of community to The Crossings and enriching lives by creating experiences that bring about immediate change. This would not be possible without the support of her loving husband, Johneric Emehel, beautiful daughters: Tressica, Jessica and Madison; and grandson, Isaiah. As owner and broker-in-charge of Edmond Edmond Emehel Groupe, LLC, a local real estate brokerage firm, Toni recently left corporate America to focus on the nourishing development of her family and follow her passions. As a result, Toni expanded her business to include a division called Black Envelope Meeting and Event Solutions where she draws from an innate gifting to create experiences that make real the visions and dreams of others. From an intimate dinner to a wedding or large corporate event, Toni enjoys unveiling the imagination of her clients in the now…in exchange for timeless memories that last forever. |

Carolyn and Keith Spellman moved into The Crossings over twelve years ago. Together, they have raised their daughter Kristle in this community in which they love. Both Carolyn and Keith are originally from Eastern North Carolina. They are avid University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill fans and alumni. They have lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bath, Maine, Newport Rhode Island and Greenville, South Carolina. And of all the places they have lived, they really LOVE Charlotte. Together, Keith and Carolyn pastor a church near this community and they truly love serving the people. Carolyn is very excited about serving in this new capacity and looks forward to making a meaningful contribution to a community she loves. Carolyn was recently elected to serve a 3-year term on the Board of Directors ending June 2010. |

 Ken Kauffman |
Ken Kauffman and his wife Wendy moved to Charlotte from Bowling Green, KY in February 2007. Ken is employed with Tyco Electronics in Rock Hill, SC as a Process Engineer. He is a graduate of Clemson University and an avid football fan. Ken is excited about serving on the Board as Treasurer and landscape Liaison and is looking forward to meeting other Crossings residents. Ken is currently serving a 2- year term, ending in June 2008. |

Take a minute to thank the board members when you see them around the community. It is a volunteer position and many times we as residents forget the amount of time these people put into the community as volunteers.
